Happy New Year!
The season is upon us, and we are excited for the 2024 golf season here at Harborside International Golf Center. We hope everyone had a great winter and is ready for another exciting 2024 golf season. This season we look to have more dinners for you ladies after the round and weekly closest to the pin winners each week. The season will run for 18 weeks from May 21st through September 17th.
The Harborside Women’s League is held every Tuesday evening, with Tee Times starting at 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm. This will be first come first serve on tee times. So, when signing up please let me know what tee time you prefer and your group foursome.
Each individual player will be responsible for paying the full $100 initiation fee, as well as a $45 weekly green fee.
Players must be twenty-one or older to play, and each team must consist of two players.
Example of Weekly Formats
Four Person Scramble: 4 Person Team. Each player will tee off and then the team will select the best shot. You continue using the best shot until the ball is holed. The Golf Shop will pair partners.
Shamble Format: Everyone hits a drive, select the best, play your own ball into the hole until holed out and follow the same format each hole.
Low Gross/Low Net: Individual. Overall Low Gross & Overall Low Net for 9 holes is the winner. Full Handicap. (Everyone Must have an established handicap)
Guest Day: Make your own 2-person team. If you do not have a guest, the Golf Shop will make pairings. The event for the day will be a two-person best ball. Guest fee $50 plus tax, includes cart. Dinner after the round $15 per person.
Stableford Format: Everyone plays their own ball and depending on what you make on the hole Points will be awarded. For example, Eagle – 6 Points, Birdie – 5 Points, Par – 4 Points, Bogey – 3 Points, Double Bogey – 2 Points & Triple Bogey – 1 Point.
Low Putts: Individual. Lowest number of Putts for 9 holes wins (every putt must go in the hole).
Medal Play: Individual Stroke Play. Low Gross & Low Net. Full Handicap. (Everyone Must have a handicap)
CLOSING DAY: Banquet, prizes, and Lots of Fun!!
