Harborside International Caddie Program
What is a caddie?
A caddie is someone who assists golfers during their rounds. Their responsibilities include carrying the golfer's bag, pacing yardages, replacing divots, raking bunkers and attending the flagstick.
Must be between the ages of 13-16, strong enough to carry a 25-lb bag for 18 holes.
Must complete application and written essay. Interviews will be starting the week of July 17th. Please include copy of most recent report card or transcript when submitting application.
Must be available to work Saturdays & Sundays from 7am- to 5pm.
Caddie Fees Earned:
$30-$50 plus tips.
Why is caddying important?
Caddying is part of golf's heritage—the way golf was meant to be played—and part of its future. It is also a great way to learn the game and can be a valuable investment for your future. If caddying is a good fit for you, it can also be a terrific opportunity for you to earn an Evans Scholarship—a full tuition and housing scholarship for golf caddies.
